My Experience
Translation
With a strong passion for storytelling and linguistic precision, I specialize in translating Korean webtoons from English to German. My work focuses not just on accuracy, but on preserving the tone, humor, and emotional depth of the original material. I aim to create seamless, culturally resonant translations that allow German - speaking audiences to fully immerse themselves in the world of webtoons—one panel at a time.
Academic writing
My academic work explores the intersections of narrative, media, and culture across English literature, film, and video game studies. I analyze how stories are constructed, adapted, and experienced across formats, with a particular focus on themes, representation, and audience engagement. Through critical essays and research -driven analysis, I aim to contribute thoughtful perspectives to evolving conversations in the humanities and media studies.
